Collaboration

Visual Electric is designed for teams and supports a number of collaborative features, including shared workspaces, real-time collaboration, and canvas and image sharing.
Shared workspace

Shared workspaces have a number of benefits:
Shared Volts: Workspace members share a common pool of volts.
Unified Billing: Members are billed through a single, centralized payment method.
Shared Canvases: Easily access and collaborate on canvases created by other workspace members.
Images Feed: Browse a feed showcasing all images generated by workspace members.
Real-time collaboration: Members can seamlessly collaborate in real-time on shared canvases.
How to create a shared workspace

Every workspace in Visual Electric is collaborative and can support multiple members. To invite new members to your existing workspace, click on the Workspace name in the top left corner and choose Workspace settings. From there you can invite additional members. To create a new shared workspace, choose New workspace.
You can add as many Viewers to a workspace as you would like for free. If you would like others to be able to generate, you will need upgrade them to Creators. You can do that in the Members section of your workspace settings.
Creators are billed according to the plan that you are currently subscribed to. You can view all of our plans on our pricing page and can modify your plan by going to the Billing section and clicking on
Canvas sharing

All canvases within a workspace are automatically visible to every workspace member. To share a canvas with people outside your workspace, click the Share button in the top-right corner of the canvas. This opens the sharing menu, where you can set permissions and copy a shareable link.
Canvas sharing settings
Anyone with the link can view (default): Anyone who receives the link can view the canvas.
Anyone with the link can edit: Any signed in user can edit the canvas.
Restricted: Only workspace members can view or edit the canvas.
Note that changing these permissions does not affect workspace members—they will always have access to the canvas.
Image Sharing

Each image you generate has a unique URL that displays the image, the prompt used to create it, and an option to Remix it.
How to get an image's sharing URL:
From a canvas
Select an image, click the Share button in the top-right corner, then select Copy Link
Right click on an image and choose Copy Link
From the Images feed
Click an image to open the lightbox, then click Copy Link.
