Meet the founders

  • Colin Dunn (CEO) is an entrepreneur, designer, and product builder who has been working on productivity and creation tools for over a decade. Most recently he led the brand and product design orgs at Universe, a mobile website builder. Prior to that he was Head of Product Design at Playspace (acq. by Google), an all-in-one video conferencing app. He has also worked at Facebook, Dropbox, and Pentagram.

  • Adam Menges (CPO) is a 2× acquired founder and has been working on machine learning and design tools for over a decade. He co-founded Lobe (acq. by Microsoft), a visual design tool that allows anyone to train their own machine learning model. He also cofounded Lowkey (acq. by Niantic), an AR game company. Prior to that he worked at Apple.

  • Zach Stiggelbout (CTO) is a multi-disciplinary engineer specializing in user interfaces and machine learning applications. He worked at Microsoft on Lobe, a visual design tool that allows anyone to train their own machine learning model. Prior to that, he co-founded Arc Reactor, an engineering/design studio, and worked at the University of Washington on human interfaces for surgical robots.

About the role

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about AI and understands creative workflows who can produce educational content for Visual Electric’s YouTube channel. You have an advanced understanding of AI image/video generation tools and are eager to teach others how to get the most out of Visual Electric.

This role is ideal for someone who’s comfortable being on camera, has a clean video setup, and can create thoughtful, easy-to-follow walkthroughs for other creatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Record 2–4 long-form tutorial videos each week (2–15 mins each)

  • Use tools like Screen Studio to record your screen while walking through real use cases

  • Record yourself speaking on-camera with a minimal backdrop

  • Light edit/production of tutorials focused on product support and “how-to” walkthroughs

  • Collaborate with our marketing team to shape the structure and tone of YouTube content

Requirements

  • You're an advanced user of visual AI tools like Visual Electric and are passionate about staying on the cutting edge of AI

  • You have great visual taste and understand modern creative workflows

  • You can record videos of yourself (and your screen) from home or your own studio

  • You speak clearly, explain steps easily, and are excited to help others learn

  • You are proficient in basic video editing tools like CapCut

  • Must be available to begin ASAP

Compensation

  • $1,500/month budget for 2-3 videos per week

Ownership & Usage

  • All videos will be exclusive to Visual Electric’s channels

  • You grant full usage rights to Visual Electric (content will not be shared on your personal pages)
